Before you begin
• (Pre-launch info): Keep in mind, friends of old members are welcome to join us without writing an application, read here. Old members make sure to contact me, your not considered part of the guild until you got access to the private forums.
• List of classes we are recruiting and Class Officer list can be found in the Status & Contact info topic. Recruiting every class at the moment!
• If you want to make a hidden application that is only visible for officers or an application that is only visible to members, then contact any officer. It is your choice, but applications that is only visible to officers will have less feedback and therefor less chance of approval.
• Any questions? Contact Andriod or the respective class officer in game or on IRC. Contact information can be found in the Status & Contact info topic.
• We are an European guild and therefor only recruit Europeans, unless you have strong arguments that counter the timezone difference.
• If you apply as a group, you should make individual applications and answer them yourself. Applying as a group will also limit your chances to join.
Requirements
• We are (give or take) a mature group of people, and will therefor only recruit people we feel are mature enough for the guild. The demand is simple: You need to be as mature as a regular 18year old. That said; I know 15year olds that are more mature than 20year olds. So basically we got no real age requirement, since stating "18year old" would only have everyone below 18 state they are 18 anyway. Confused? Never mind, just read on!
• We got no static demand on activity to new members at this point, but the guidelines are semi-active to hardcore. You need to be an asset to the guild, socially and as a team-member. New members need to be planning to actively play the game at the release date.
• Your application must be written with decent and understandable English. I find it disrespectful if you stress out a poorly written application, without checking for spelling and grammar errors first.
• You need to be comfortable with using voice-com (Ventrilo) during guild events. You are only required to listen, however a microphone is a plus.
• Obviously you need to own a playable computer and be connected to a stable connection.
• You accept the idea of possible using a loot distribution system (dkp).
• You want to play in a old guild with a lot of history, and be a part of a guild and community for a long time. A guild where you can make your own history and fun!
• Level requirement: L70+ to get accepted as a Guardian and L80+ for the other classes.
Application Setup Guidelines
You have come to this forum to write an application to a new guild, a new group of people you want to enjoy the world of Hyboria with. Don't be intimidated by the numerous amount of static questions. Be you.
Here are the guidelines for writing a good application, these are just an indication on how we want our applicants information to be shown. However feel free to be creative if you feel there is a better way to put your words, as long as all the questions are answered. Be you.
